Really, guys? On both Brexit and the recent US election whichever view you voice, there's a 50/50 chance that your audience has the opposite opinion. Isn't that just asking for trouble?
And the USA is a republic, not a democracy.
Besides which, I consider it a personal affront that it's going on two weeks and no one has offered congrats. GO TIGERS
You're quite right. It was wrong to introduce politics into this and I apologise.
Oh and by the way ..... Is that the Detroit Tigers? Yet another American mystery to those of us on this side of the pond - Baseball ............... as well as driving on the wrong side of the road of course.
It is odd that these comments grew from a tranquil scene in NZ, a place seemingly far removed from the recent events on both sides of the Atlantic. And it no doubt is better to keep out of politics on a website like this. But "crass" comments? I think that in the "crassness stakes" the comments aired on here have to be classed as absolute non-runners compared with a lot of what we've heard from politicians on both sides of "The Pond". And now I will shut up
Many thanks for the nice comments on my image. Re the right hand rule for traffic in many countries the French Revolution and also Napoleon have a lot to answer for!
My alma mater, the Clemson University Tigers, recently won the national championship in college football. And we're talking real football. You know, where the ball is carried and thrown with the hands, not kicked up and down the field with the feet. Like rugby with helmets.
