Nice image
Nice comp and I like the muted tones in this.
It is indeed a moody shot and well composed. Well done.
Lovely image, well spotted and taken.
Very nice. The misty clouds really add to this image. I also like the vehicle on the road. At first I thought that it was travelling into the hills but when I looked at it full screen it looks like it is coming toward the viewer. Do they drive on "the wrong side of the road" in NZ?
It is odd that Canada doesn't drive on the left, but I suppose it is due to the shared land border with the U.S.A. Many former countries of the British Empire still drive on the correct side of the road (Oz and NZ, South Africa and India). It is odd that the Irish Republic didn't decide to swap from left to right at independence. And it is something of a surprise to learn that the Japanese also drive on the correct side of the road (right definitely being a case of wrong in this context).

Yes, a great moody shot. I can almost smell the place. Love the hanging mist
There was some discussion in another thread about all the world but the USA being metric. Statistically the USA accounts for roughly 25 percent of the world economy. And a similar percentage of the world populace drives on the left. Maybe Mr.Trump will agree to take us metric if everyone else will switch to driving on the right. That seems like a fair trade. Think how much simpler travel would be
After today I thought about offering US friends the chance to become part of Britain again .... but we're being run by idiots as well.
Donald, "After today I thought about offering US friends the chance to become part of Britain again .... but we're being run by idiots as well."
Except for Brexit, I would take up your offer! It seems that we are idiots here in the U.S. run by an idiot. Except that the majority of the voters actually voted against the Trumpeter...

To my mind, these crass comments have little to do with photography. Remember, those who voted against Brexit and Donald Trump are in the minority. And we all believe in democracy, yes?
I consider myself suitably chastised by those who perhaps have a different world view than I do.
But just as a footnote, my country voted 62% - 38% against Brexit and 3 million more people voted for Clinton than Trump. Aye, democracy's a fine thing indeed.
