Most of us probably end up having a preferred subject for our shooting sessions. With Mrs Ucci and myself we have a perchance for the play of sunlight and shadows across the nearby ranges. We never seem to tire of watching the changing patterns as the sun beetles across the heavens. Okay, so maybe we do need to get a Life!
Anyway here are a couple of captures taken a few days ago, late afternoon after we had had a bit of a thunderstorm.

Oh no, no, no. It's those who have to run around like headless chickens just to survive or, for some, to climb the greasy pole, that need to get a life .... the very sort of life that you espouse. Blissful.

Ken, if more people were satisfied just enjoying creation the world would be much better off.

The first image is awesome. It does appear to be slightly askew.

Having a view like that, it's a hard life. Great images by the way, #1 for me.

Being able to sit back and enjoy creation in all it's splendour is a very good life. I love the streaks of light coming through the clouds in #1, it could do with a slight bit of straightening.

Oh dear, oh dear. 'How embarrassment!' as Effie would say. Thank you all for your kind comments but also for not letting me off the hook! You are all spot on with all having a great eye for these things. Went back and checked. It was in fact off by 3 degrees from the horizontal. So I jacked up one corner of my monitor to make it look level and have resent. Is this any better?
A man feels a real 'richard cranium' for not having been more careful in checking before posting. A salutary lesson lesson. As they say in the building trade, " Measure twice and so only have to cut once."

So, for my sins, I am off to the 'naughty corner' for two weeks! Enjoy the respite! But never fear. As old Arnie said, "Oi'll be back!"

I thought I commented on this thread, but obviously I didn't Both nice images Ken I like the corrected version of #1. If you crop the blown out parts in the sky in #2 , IMO it would make another nice and different version .
