This is a ripe (some would say overly ripe) avocado grown in Mexico and exported to America.

Setup
The tabletop and background are a single sheet of green art paper. A small continuous-light lamp that lights the subject from above and to the left is fitted with a flag to prevent the background from being lit too brightly. Another small continuous-light lamp on the front right side is also fitted with a flag to prevent the tabletop in that area from being lit too brightly. A polarizer controls glare.
