Both are good.
In some ways I prefer the composition of the second image, except for that dark band along the bottom. I wonder about a crop?

Two beautiful images that brought back very happy memories of cruising your coast fifty years ago. I approached Lorient from a very dark and stormy Atlantic night and was relieved to sight the light on Ile de Groix as visibility closed in. We wisely elected to spend the night there before sailing on to Lorient the next day.
