Not sure if these really work or not. Wasn't planning on taking anything, just rock hunting and a quick hike with hubby and the labs.
Anyhoo...
The water was FREEZING, thus he kept them on the leash so they wouldn't be crazy and freeze their coats.

Thank you Dave. The exposure may be a bit dark, but lightening it made it feel flat. It was just after sun set

Interesting shot, Sharon. For a pure landscape shot I'm not sure the symmetry and centered horizon would work. However, with the family positioned as they are and your hubby looking toward the horizon, it works well. Lovely shot.
One of the first places we visited on the west coast was Anacortes/Fidalgo Island. We stopped at Deception Pass and took a short hike there near the bridge. Being a lover of the ocean, trees, and mountains, I thought it was absolutely magical. So that place holds special memories.
