    St Michael's Mount

I was here a couple of years ago and have only just got round to processing the Pic. Monochrome is still a relatively new adventure for me so I am still finding my way. Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

I think you nailed that. I like mono as a medium and in particular, that gritty look for architecture. Nice image.

I liked it; yet i feel lowering sharpness a bit can make it appear more real; just a thought

Yeah I am interested that you focussed on sharpness. One of my weaknesses is that I tend to over sharpen. In this case I was after a slightly surreal feel and an desire to lift the structure out of the background so enhancing detail and sharpness was one way of doing this and I liked the result but from your comment I may have fallen for my old trap and pushed the sharpness a tad too far. Many thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

I also agree that lowering the sharpness may be a good idea. You would still retain the "gritty" effect. I especially like the sky and the overall composition.

I just want to mention that the mid tones are especially beautiful.

Personally, I love it the way it is. It verges on the surreal.

Reminds me of an Esheresque print.
