Monk with prayer book

This is a shot I took at the Liker Monastery in Ladakh, India. This Buddhist monk is looking at his prayer book.




The light is coming through a window on the camera right side and I really like how the natural light lit up the monk's hands. The prayer book acted like a reflector and threw light back into his face.

Nice shot, short DOF as needed, relatively low speed as his right hand is blurred.
I hope he hadn't bothered by the gear noise

Manfred, I really love this image. The lighting of the face of the reader to his right hand and to the top of the pages is perfect.
