Would that be a Yellow-legged Gull (Larus michahellis) George?
I'm going by the leg colour and red ring around the eye. Rather uncommon this side of the Channel.

A few years ago. North of Spain, Baskian Gulf. I don't know about the mark. Only that she/he was hungry, and careful.
