It must have been hard for you being there and taken this shot. Gezz! I like it a lot but am wondering about the LHS. There is, to my mind, no real point in the shadows there. That is only my opinion though.

Me too - it doesn't need much, but a little lightening of the shadows

and the trouble I see with it is a group of people standing around adding visual clutter on the right and dull grey on the left side.

The dull grey is blue on my monitor and reflects the sky. The people don't bother me. But of course, it's you image so you should go with what you like best
