Carreg Cennen Castle (and a beer!)

A very nice walk the other day with the DB. She carried the camera, chilled wine, and smoked salmon sandwiches. I took the shots. Carreg Cennen is a castle in a stunning location in West Wales, about 30mins drive from my house. If you are ever in the area, I can recommend a visit here.

#1#2#5 actually I think something interesting in any of these would make them greatness, fabulous in fact. You seem to have something wrong with your hand in 7. I suffer from too much drinking and the important thing is if you took photography up before you was a drinker, cos then you get to say cos instead of because and actually remember wot what it supposed to look like. Shows how silly I am.

Yes, Steve, you are correct. It's too high, due to the emptiness of my glass. The photographer's assistant was just about to replinish the stock levels.

Nice shots. Clouds really make a picture. If these were cloudless shots the photos would have less impact. In #6, what is the shadow in the foreground?

My ego? Or it could be the shadow of the rock outcrop I was standing on. The sun was very low and directly behind me. Yes, the clouds are good - I was lucky to have them.

It's Silver Efex Pro plugin. I used a sepia tint.
