This is the beach on the shore of Lake Huron in southwestern Ontario. I had not seen the phenomenon of the ice mounds before moving here. The waves have sculpted some interesting shapes. Some of them have holes and if it is windy the water is forced through the gap, somewhat like a geyser. The last image is of the very same beach in June.

Very interesting, Suzan. The blow hole is crazy. Never seen this phenomenon. Thanks for sharing.
But the June shot is crazy good.
