Baron
Baron is a 5-month old pure-bred Shih Tsu puppy who has a wonderful personality. He is a really cute looking dog who gets lots of attention wherever he goes. The staff at our vet went crazy over this little guy!
We are listing him on our rescue site today and will be taking him to a rescue event this coming Saturday. I will be very surprised if he isn't adopted straight away...

Re: Baron
Richard, you have no shortage of beautiful models and this one is up there with the best. You have a very kind heart, everyone and everything is better for it.

Re: Baron
When all we rescued were Maltese, I got quite adept at photographing white dogs but, honestly, it's more fun to be able to shoot dogs of varied colors...
Here is Baron with a different color background...
I think that I like this color better...

Re: Baron
Not keen on the BG in the original set Richard but the brown BG brings out the best in the images. The last two are quite special.

Re: Baron
I originally shot the series using the camel colored background. However, my wife said that she wanted the teal colored background. So, I shot another series using the teal color as the background...
In the interest of "happy wife - happy life!" I processed the images with the teal background first. Then, I processed, the images with the camel colored background. Only, after I made sure that they were better than the teal - I showed them to my wife. She also prefers the camel colored backgrounds...
If they had not been better, I would have dumped the images
However, I have the Baron's image with the teal on our poster (top row center) at the store, advertising our rescue event for this coming Saturday...
COSTCO Photo Services will print a very nice quality 16x20 inch print for $7.00 (USD) with a one hour turn around. I can submit the file on line and pick it up at the store or order it in the store using their machine and then go shopping for a hour or less (this time it was 45 minutes) and pick up print. Costco is about 15 minutes from my house...

Re: Baron
Your little Baron wins my heart! And he's seems to be a "ham" for your photo shoot!
I like the camel background for him better than the teal! But he steals the show in either series!

Re: Baron
We had a total of eight dogs adopted this last week and one more (Baron) is going to his new family tomorrow. We also have several more "possibles" which usually don't amount to anything...
We even got a 12-year old Shih Tsu adopted. The shelter told one of our volunteers that they were putting the dog down because she had no "quality of life left". She has perked up wonderfully after being pulled from the shelter and she went home with a lady who will adopt no dog unless it is a senior. I really have to give this lady credit. The dog will live out her last days, weeks, months or years in an atmosphere of loving kindness.
It is an event like this that makes all of our work worthwhile.
