Apple -- Take 2
The photo shown below has an obvious similarity to my first photo of the same apple but the mood is very different. I probably would have posted both photos in the same thread if Tiny Pic had not gone down for an entire day. (It's still extremely unreliable at best.)
Setup
The background is black velvet. A flash light lights the subject from the right rear area. A reflector handheld above and on the left of the apple separates that side of the stem from the background. A polarizer eliminates glare on the right side of the apple.

Wow - superb
This really motivates me to try things other than wildlife. I would never in a million years have dreamed of photographing an apple.
