    Skagit Winter Colors

It was a nice clear day yesterday, so headed to the Valley to see what was happening.
Mt. Baker was out in his glory. I really like the red fields in winter as well.

    Thanks for looking

I can see some nice colors and layers but I wish there was a larger version of the image Sharon

I spent five years at NAS Whidbey in the 70's. Hang on, spring tulip season is coming!

Nicely composed image, Sharon. And yes the red field provides some nice color for this time of year. Is that a field of berry bushes?

Thank you for responding Binnur. For some reason, tiny pic isn't liking my images any longer, thus the attachment.

Yes . Beautiful time of the year in the spring, with dafs and tulips. NAS Whidbey flies over our house. Lately not so much

Thank you Dan. I have yet to figure out what the red plants are. Originally I thought wheat, but probably not

Very nice. The red field looks out of place in a winter scene but it works really really well.
My brain is saying there shouldn't be that much colour in the winter but my eyes are saying different.
