Whatever tag I used, it keeps showing an image. So I remeoved the g from the first tag. But this should be left.
When using Roberts way, you get the same. Just add the img tags.

George, Thanks. For some reason I can't highlight the BB code to remove the stuff on either side of the [/img].

You do that in the editing screen of this forum.
But follow Roberts way, you get the same result. Easier.

Don't overdo it. There're not many people here that agree.

I was wondering if any of the members that use Flickr on CiC could give me some suggestions in what code to use?

I have not uploaded any photos to Flickr yet but in reading their FAQ it mentions two codes, Html and BBcode.
The link-address seems very large and I wouldn't want to load a full size photo file'

Any help would be appreciated. I subscribe to the KISS system, "Keep it simple silly'

    Re: Posting photos using Flickr

A lot of the discussion and confusion here and elsewhere is based on our current view of what is on our computer and the fact that in many cases it is only 'on your computer' as a function of showing it on the screen. The data may take up some disk space in 'internet temporary files' but in general it flows through various levels of applications. Those applications were designed and developed to serve specific purposes and will have different effects depending on other applications.

For example, look at the number of applications that want Edge, internet explorer, chrome, or whatever browser.

My blog automatically serves up resized images regardless of the size uploaded. I routinely upload 1024x768 as my preferred image size. That size yeilds this image.

but, if you were actually at my blog and right clicked and selected view image it would automatically be set to 640 pixels wide yielding

You should see those as two different sizes of the exact same image served up from wordpress. They do NOT exist on the CIC server, the CIC server simply tells your computer where to find the image.

Your browser may be written to reload the image every time it is requested or it may store it on your computer as a temporary file.
