I guess all cat owners have these challenges! You take a walk in nice weather and on return, find that Pussy has gone into hiding
In our case I think its a prelude to winter catnaps.

Yes, mine has recently started hiding in the wardrobe. Obviously a sign of the approaching winter.

Aaah Cats! The divas of the animal kingdom. I often wonder what they are thinking when they approach you while you are sleeping and you wake up with a muzzle full of whiskers in your face. I grew up in a family of cat haters who were afraid they would take the baby's breath away. I'm glad I decided to learn on my own about their fickleness and sweetness. But I'll tell you this, I will not hug a lion for the life of me.
