    Background too busy?

Since I don't want to be stuck without images for my 2018 calendar. I am doing some tests for holiday motif imagery. This one would be for March with the background in shamrocks for St. Patrick's day. This is not the dog I would have on the calendar. Although she is a rescue, we adopted her quite a few years ago and she is "our" dog. She just happened to be around and willing to pose

My question is, do you think that the background is too busy? My wife does and I am kind of tossed up about it

Wow! It's hard to believe that she has been with us for nine years. This is what she looked like when we got her!

    Hi Richard,

Nice captures, background not so bad, but the same pattern in the foreground has a dreamy state to it, a crop below the collar could lessen the effect somewhat.

IMO it's a horrible BG. And it's not really recognizable as shamrocks anyway. Wouldn't solid green work for St.Patty's day?

Sorry Richard, for me, the BG is extremely distracting and your beautiful pups deserve to have all the attention.

I tend to agree now that I have looked at the images quite a bit. With the BG totally OOF it cannot be recognized as shamrocks...

    Background too busy?

I have a couple of solid color green backgrounds which I will play with.
