Photo Competition for January 2017 - The Result

Sorry for the delay in getting this result out folks. I've had to investigate a major case of voter fraud. Like my namesake in Pennsylvania Avenue, we know that some results are just plain wrong. In this case, Entry Number 14 got no/none/ziltch/zero votes. So obviously, something went badly wrong. We believe the voting may have been hacked and that all votes for #14 were electronically changed.

But, in the meantime, as we take this to so-called judges, the results are as follows.

Well done to those three. There were no other real close challengers. These three were pretty much way ahead of the field.

Congrats to all the winners. Well deserved and are of such outstanding quality they would have placed at the top even if this case of egregious malfeasance proves to be true.

I suggest you ban all non Gaelic voters, not living within a 100 km radius of Edinburgh, immediately until this can be sorted out. Our security is at stake.

I love it!

It's great fun watching as the votes come in. Sometimes, it's obvious after looking at the first rush, which way this is going to go. It's pretty obvious where the votes are going. Other times, the votes are all over the place and you have no idea how it's going to shake down.

Just so long as it keeps stretching and encouraging people to pursue excellence, then it's worth it.
