Great eye, John! Everything hangs so nicely together in this scene. One nice little touch is that the curve of the woman's beige top so nicely complements the curve of the seats. Her clothing goes so well with the color of the wall and floor and even the colors and graphic lines in her skirt so nicely complement the shirt worn by the woman displayed on the wall.

Good image - I too like seeing how others react/behave in art galleries

That is a wonderful artwork. It took great vision to 'see' that image. I love it. I think it is so very well composed.

Thank you Mike, John, Kaye and Donald. Places like Art Galleries and museums seem to provide endless opportunity - when cameras are allowed. Often in the UK, they are not.

Everything falls together great in your image. Nice capture! I didn't know what to expect when I opened this image...
I also think that the empty space of the wall works well. I would probably have cropped this a bit closer and it would not have worked anywhere nearly as well as your crop did...

Love this! Very nice work John. So simple, yet telling a great story.

Thank you Richard, thank you Sharon. Richard, I did crop closer originally but the negative space seemed to be needed to balance the comp.

John, a very well composed and captured image. I've done images in a gallery, so I know how challenging it can be.

Me, too...I love the composition and would have passed by this opportunity. Now I will have to look closely...thanks.

Re: Learn More About the Artist
Nicely seen and taken John.
Knowing your purposeful approach to PP work, I'm fairly certain that the heavy toning has been done on purpose, but having been to the AGO quite a number of times, I don't remember ever seeing any walls done in those warm tones. The display areas I remember were all much more neutral than you show here. I am wondering why you took this approach?
