Grungy Abstract
This photo is a very small part of the embossed monogram displayed on the rear of this bottle. Though I know the name of the proprietor of the store associated with the bottle because of the display on its front side, the various parts of the monogram are difficult to decipher. I photographed this small portion because I like the grungy appearance, the embossing that reminds me of the style of Egyptian hieroglyphics, and the abstract nature of the photo.
The magnification ratio is about 1:1.4, which means the scene that was captured in the original horizontal orientation is about 0.8" x 1.2" (about 20mm x 30mm). I then cropped at the sides to make the final version in a vertical orientation.
Setup
The background is black foam core. A large circular diffuser was behind the background. A medium continuous-light lamp behind the diffuser and background was shining toward the subject and camera.

Re: Grungy Abstract
The effort you put into your setup worked out quite well. Great macro.
(I think I recognise a rotated "Jesus-Fish"?)

Re: Grungy Abstract
Thanks, Werner!
The "Jesus Fish" you recognize is instead just a very small part of the proprietor's monogram.

Re: Grungy Abstract
Nice, I count your ham shot Roll of sliced ham more of an abstract than this one, but this composition has a found artifact look to it; I would have at first glance believed it to be some sort of metal work.

Thank you, everyone.
John: I and my wife also think it looks like metal rather than glass. It's interesting that I consider this image more of an abstract than the ham, yet you think it's the other way around. Though I appreciate that both give a nod to the abstract style, I don't think of either of them as pure abstracts (though I have no idea how to define a pure abstract).

Re: Grungy Abstract
Very interesting - you wouldn't know it was glass if you hadn't told us.
