Sharpening Fuji X (and others)
Further to my post asking about Rawtherapee, I came across this today. It demonstrates the effectiveness of the new Irident Windows offering for Fuji X Tran files but of course it is designed to be used for all camera file formats. It is still in Beta but available to test. The article can be found here:

Interesting John. I like to try these things out (can't help myself). But I downloaded this software and found that it only handles Fuji raw files, for now at least.

Re: Sharpening Fuji X (and others)
Hi Dave, I thought I had read that it is the Windows equivalent to the current Iridient Developer which of course is a Mac only App. I might try it myself. Adobe does a good enough job for general work for me but when it comes to birds in the field or shoreline, I'm still cropping significantly even with a long lens. Consequently, I sharpen but worm effect kicks in occasionally.
