From the Car

I thought I just posted this but I guess not. Could not stop anywhere on the snowy Santiam Pass yesterday, (4,800 ft), so I shot through the not so clean car window at 55 mph on the bumpy gravel. Not too shabby considering. Interesting?

For second and subsequent images, I think you need to (first?) use the Upload button (top centre) in the TinyPic window Kaye.



I forget precisely how now, but I recall it not being intuitive when I tried the other day, but I did succeed eventually.

Yes it is George. Neat. So many were burned in a very large fire several years ago.

I wondered, why are they not green. Now I know. Is that wood not usable anymore?
You can see why these trees where used for masts on the ships.

Likely they will provide habitat only - these are in a protected area George.

Hi fellow web foot Kris. ;-) I will give the black a go and see thanks for the idea. I liked the muted tones but I need to experiment more in LR and push things to get a better handle on exactly what I do like - know what I mean?
