I just discovered this, after reading the threads of a couple of Skitterbug and Urbanflier. It is right in line with what I have begun doing in recent weeks, which is learning long exposure and night photography, as well as improving my post-processing skills. So I will be taking photos as well as mining the ridiculously large catalog of photos on my computer. Most of them were taken in JPEG; I have only this year begun consistently shooting RAW. I'll begin by posting a photo I posted recently in another thread. BTW, let me know if the image needs to be larger -

Hi Joe ~ I'm glad to see you taken up the challenge! It is fun seeing the progression of skill by others.

I'm especially interested in how this pic is set up. One suggestion that would be helpful for me is knowing the settings you used for your camera! I like the way the lights look and I like the start to your project!

Also, I can't offer an opinion about the size of your posted pic. Someone with more knowledge will have to address that question! I can say that what I'm seeing is not as large as some but it is bigger than others! How's that for being helpful? (LOL) I measured it and it appears as a 9" x 5.5" pic.

Thanks Sandy! Of course the photo info would be helpful - I shot this for 8.3 seconds at f11, ISO 200. I'm taking an online course in night photography at digital-photography-school.com, and it's very helpful.
