TapaTalk Help request - is it possible to upload images?

Hi all, I am still computerless, but I did go out and buy myself a little iPad last weekend and am finally learning some of the photographic applications of mobile devices. Very absorbing. Anyhow, I would like to share some of my creations, but am unsure how best to upload from Flickr to here via TapaTalk as the interface with both sites is different on an iPad and I don't see the usual sizing options. I am not even sure what size I uploaded to Flickr. Can anyone help me sort this out.

Sorry you're not getting a response to this, Janis. I'm useless because I don't use TapaTalk. Hopefully those who do will be on here soon, will see this and respond. Keep bumping up the page by inserting a short message to keep it alive.

+1 to Donald's comment. I have never quite seen the need for Tapatalk.

    Best practices posting via TapaTalk

I use it, but I haven't noticed a way to upload pictures with it.

I started using TapaTalk about 8 years ago. At the time web pages had become mobile friendly but fora had not. On phones or pads posts tended to be rendered in the equivalent of a 2 point font and reading a post involved much pinching and squeezing and scrolling horizontally. Much has changed in the intervening 8 (or so) years with respect to forum mobile friendliness. While I still have tapatalk installed (I think...) I just use the device's native web browser. I can't help you with uploading photos from a mobile device because I haven't tried that yet.

Janice I am not gear-obsessed but you and I have very similar gear.

    Hi Janis,

I have renamed the thread to make the query more obvious, let's hope that helps.

I too rarely use TapaTalk (only have it on my phone) and I only use that for forums once every few years (and not for image posting).

We appear to have a few members who regularly use TapaTalk, but I'm not sure if they post images.

    Hopefully we'll soon learn, Dave

Thanks, all. It is possible to post images via TapaTalk, I think, Dave; it is just that both the iOS interface with Flickr and the TapaTalk interface with CiC are not what I am used to. I sheepishly confess I did not even try to access CiC via the regular browser, but now I see it is quite readable on my 9" iPad, where it isn't on my cellphone.

Anyhow, I will try posting via TapaTalk, just for the experience.

It turns out that Flickr is not very compatible with an iPad. The current Flickr app does not offer the BB code and it is next to impossible to copy the BB code from the browser. Some people manage to copy it by way of a one finger, two finger tap combination, but it only worked once for me.
