    Something to smile about!

What's better than holding one dog? Well, holding two dogs is really something to smile about. Taken at today's adoption event in San Diego at the Unleashed by Petco store...

    Something to smile about!

Available light in shade using auto white balance in RAW. Canon 7D2 with 50mm f/1.8 Mark-I lens... Manual exposure: 1/250 second @ f/5.6 using auto ISO. The 7D2 produces very adequate quality at ISO 650...

The one to the right is a real big, mean, old wolf!

The dogs get rather sleepy at these events. People fuss over them and hold them so much that they miss their mid-morning naps. The one on the right actually had his eyes closed for a couple of shots.

IMO, the young lady had an absolutely beautiful smile.

    More smiles...

Two adoptions from this weekend - with more smiles...

    Rita:
    Something to smile about!

    Grayson:
    Something to smile about!

Adoptions are not only good for the dogs, they are good for the adoptive family. Grayson's new parents had adopted a dog from us several years ago who ultimately died from cancer recently. The man was terribly depressed but, his spirits have been raised by Grayson...

Both dogs look a bit shy. But I'm sure they will get used to their new families and start smiling and jumping around soon

I like the exposures of these shots...the first one of the two actually...they are really both happy with their dog...I bet those ones will have fun with their new dog. The positions of their heads that form a triangle is so pleasing to the eyes. Their love shows through. They will love this dog well and care for it well too. It shows in their smiles and their faces. You'captured that well here.
