This is a very nice study and it deserves some comment Ashish. I've looked at it several times and her features are not only very engaging but the contrasty light suits them well (IMHO). I am a little bothered however, by the brighter areas of the rest of the image, that is her neck rings and the top of her hat. I'm sure that you have captured them as they undoubtedly were but they distract a little from the face and my instinct would be to pull them back a bit for the sake of giving that part of her a bit more prominence. I don't think that in doing so you will lose the significance of the neck rings, which clearly are an important part of the story. Nice work either way.

P.S. had a play to try to demonstrate what I mean.

Asish this a lovely portrait. There is almost a reflective quality in her face that speaks to the rest of what is happening there...really, really nice.

Interesting photograph. I have always wondered what this does to the mechanics and stability of the cervical spine. I have issues with my neck and have been able to avoid surgery. Maybe this lady has it figured out.

Thanks John... Your edit looks good and definitely brings in a differentiation between her face and the her headgear and the brass rings around her neck.

I don't know about the mechanics but I did weigh one of the brass rings that they wear around their necks and it weighed around 4.5 kgs!

Wow. That's heavy stuff. I think I will stick with physical therapy which is working well.
