Ooty
The town of Ooty in the Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu, India is a former hill station; a place where the British colonials escaped to from Chennai (formerly known as Madras) during the hot months of April, May and early June.
This is a hand-blend of three separate images taken from the beginning of the evening Golden Hour, through blue hour and right to the end of civil twilight. It took me about an hour to make the captures. A wanted to record the colours of the buildings in town and overlay the night lights. The sky was cloudless and rather boring, so I minimized the amount of sky in the image. Sunset occurred to the camera left side of the frame.
This is one image that should be viewed in Lightbox.

Re: Ooty
WOW, fantastic. Love all the colors of the homes. Often just too much beige and brown in the USA
