A set that someone such as me who prefers tight crops will love! Especially nice negative vignette in the fourth one.

Re: Civil War Reenactment Portraits
Thanks my friends, it was a fun shoot. The reenactors are very serious about their craft and I think that people, especially kids learn a lot from this type of event. Unfortunately, there are people in the USA who don't even know who fought whom in the Civil War...

Re: Low Key Portrait
Thanks Donald...
In addition to enjoying photography, I am also a history buff...
I have probably read a hundred or so books on the American Civil War and more than that number on World War II. I am just finishing listening to an audio book on the debacle that is termed "The Fall of France". (Why France Collapsed by Guy Franklin). Unfortunately, I will need to listen to it again, this time with a map on my side. It is an intricate history of the French forces down to battalion and even company level. It debunks the generally held belief that the French Army was strong. It was ill-equipped, ill-trained, miss-led and with absolutely no air cover.
