Belize: Cahal Pech Mayan site

Cahal Pech is a Mayan site in San Ignacio, Belize.

The obligatory color photo was captured by my wife and post-processed by me. I chose to make all my photos in monochrome before ever releasing the shutter because of the better fit in my opinion with the quality of the rather harsh, midday light.

Nice series, the B & W especially worked for the 3 and 4th images. I like the color version as well.

I like all of them... The monochromes remind me of old National Geographic issues...

Mike, the sites looks to be well maintained, given the rather sudden demise of the Mayan empire. The last image is a stunner. I do hope you are not enjoying yourselves too much.
