I don't have a "Super Model"
I recently bought a new lens which they sprout off as a "Portrait Lens". As I don't have a "Super Model" willing to do a studio session until at least May, I've had to make do with a lizard.
I think she may have overdone the eye make up?

Much more valuable and probably makes a greater contribution to society's well-being, than a supermodel.
And it's a wonderful image.

That's a very nice capture. Might be worth pulling back the highlight top left but very nice all the same.

Re: I don't have a "Super Model"
Thanks Donald
I really like the image also.
I am however quite distressed, as I think the darling girl may have been taken by a predator.
The make up industry is apparently quite cut-throat.......

Re: I don't have a "Super Model"
Three different elements sounds interesting
i. The protagonist of the frame
ii. the tiny stone pieces on the floor
iii. A really beautiful bokeh
Excellent picture

Very! nice shot Tim- looks like you should be having some good fun with the new lens. I agree with John about the highlights in the LH corner in that creamy bokeh - maybe a dash more light on his face..?..possible tweaks - it looks great just the way it is ;-)

Re: I don't have a "Super Model"
A glorious supermodel. The absence of lipstick is welcome, not to mention the obligatory snooty look.
Cheers Ole

Re: I don't have a "Super Model"
I nearly said put some lippy on but Ole mentioned she is good enough without one. Anyway, if you tone down the background a bit you can make the whole shot pop a bit. I am much bothered that the background is overwhelming the lady's face...but that is just me.
