Great Tit - Illustrative.

The garden birds are getting busy. The PP for this resulted from the fact that it wasn't crisp enough for a pure natural history shot and because I'm still looking for something slightly different to hang on the wall. Comments welcome.

Fuji X plus 100-400 lens and some PP using Topaz plugins.

Nice effect. If that green bokeh had been anywhere else, it would have been distracting.

John, sound reason for it but not something I would do myself. Having said that it looks good, I would consider putting the twig back to 'normal' so its a blend of the two ?

Very nice and subtle. I could see that on a wall. I like Mark's idea about the twig, I think that it would draw you in even closer.

I do not like the green area at the bottom of the bird. Is that kind of like a reflection? Overall it is a nice sharp shot and good processing, minus the green area.

John, Mark, Susan and Izzie. Got to agree about the twig. Pink is not the best colour for it and I have altered the colour balance. As for the green patch, I did originally eliminate it but somehow it seemed necessary to fill the negative space bottom right and so in the end I left it. Both corrections have been applied to the image below. I'm not sure now . What do you think.
