I saw the same colour at the supermarket one day before winter came but I did not pick it up because Bill will have that crinkle in his face again when he sees me pick up another plant that needed to be winterized...this is beautiful, Alan. I will just content myself with your wife's picturesques' plants until we move out to a place where we do not have to winterized plants during winters.

Final update on this thread I think. Most of the blooms have opened now as only a few are left closed up. The ones on the far side of the yard aren't as far along as these, but they look the same color wise so I won't bore you with more pictures of them. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed these as much as I did posting their progress. It really is an amazing amount of plant growth in a relatively short period of time IMO.
