I thought it was a cute juxtaposition.

Well the cat could be a crowd drawer.

IMO, it misses some sharpness on the entire image.

The shutter speed is a bit on the low side but when viewed in Lightbox the cat is well focused and the person on the right side looks OK.

Maybe having some visible text is giving an appearance of not being sharp. Text always looks somewhat blurred in a photograph.

    I like the composition.

Doorway shots are always such wonderful glimpses. I can almost feel you walking by, hesitating - taking it in and then shooting.

You could be right. I heard someone calling it snowball.
    Thanks, John.

I have no problem with the way it is, but I understand you do.
    Thanks for your opinion, Jean.

You're right, the shutter speed was on the slow side. I was using zone focus and from where I was standing everything should have been in focus.
    Thanks, Geoff.

I'm glad you got that feeling, because that's pretty much the way it happened.
    Thanks for your insight, Susan.

I love the whole thing -- including the cat. I think it was the cat being raffled or the cat running the raffle. Too funny.
