    Sea at night

    Hi,

    With the floodlights at the dune-line this picture gives a suprising colour effect.
    Any comments on improving on pictures of this nature? Thanks

    Hi Jacques,

    Welcome to the CiC forums from me, great to have you posting an image so soon.

    In general, I like the exposure and composition, although two things on the composition;
    i) I think it would be better with a slight clockwise twist to get the horizon level
    ii) I either want to see a little more of the structure bottom right - or none of it

    It is still a lovely shot though, well done,

    Welcome to CiC. I agree with Dave's comments. It is a nice shot with a wonderful moon and moon light. I would prefer to eliminate the bottom part altogether, just keep some ocean.

    Thanks, it is nice to be at CiC .
    In most of my pics I tent to leave to much in it like the structure. I need to take more time looking before shooting the picture.
    It will come with more practice.
