    Full Throttle

Taken in Seville on the River one Sunday morning. The positioning of the jet ski within the frame in the first image is intuitive in that normally I would expect to leave more room in front rather than at the back (as in the second image). However, including the wash to the rear just seemed to make a more satisfying composition (feeling of speed??) so that is what I did but views welcome as always.

I examined the framing before reading your explanation of it and never had any doubt that it works really well for me for the reason you explained. Both images are very appealing but I especially like the wake in the first one. It's great to be able to see the eyes in both photos.

Nice shots, first is good for the water curve, a small problem on his arm.
Second shows the power of the engine.

Nice captures. I specially like to capture high speed watercraft in tight turns with their wakes in the background...

Thanks John, Mike Jean and Richard for the comments.

The eyes are important Mike and it becomes very apparent these days in shooting car and motor bike events where increasingly, the norm is tinted visors.
