Nice series, agree about #2.
Thank you John.
You've got some beautiful colors in these pics! I especially like the one with the purple flower.
I like the purple Anemone as well but, for me, the simplicity and the bokeh in #2 give it the edge.
John
Awesome blossoms....
Thank you All3n, John and Nandakumar.
Consider making photos like #2 but with everything in the scene being out of focus in an abstract style.
The Anemone is very special. Lovely.
The last set of images isn't consistent with the look of the the areas in #2 that are out of focus, so they don't have as much appeal to me. The difference is that image #2 provides a distinct pattern that is especially appealing to me, whereas the other out of focus images don't.
#10 being my favorite. I am a sucker for a white or black background.

Thank you Marie
All so beautiful, Jean...I've been meaning to go to the Botanical Garden but it has been raining lately and I need to finish my database. Too much work to do, so little time. I do not like the just-bokeh series though. My boring teacher in flower photography likes bokeh so much but she concentrate more on curls and shapes. It went to that point of becoming too overwhelming. I like your style better because the flowers are there for ID and admiring. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Izzie.
I took the photos almost all at 2.4 with my new 60mm macro. I love it.
Hi Jean ~ Enjoyed your series of flowers! Beautiful. I didn't especially care for the Bokeh ones though only because I like "seeing" something in photos besides a blend of colors. The Cherry blossom #14 especially caught my attention. I think it is beautiful and I also enjoyed #18 - with the "animal included"....
What is #15? Fern unfurling maybe? Interesting as well!
All sharp!
Thank you Sandy for commenting.
You are right for # 15, I was lazy to search the translation
