Grapes Close-up
The table grapes shown below are from the same cluster displayed in my other photo. Indeed, it would be easy to identify the five grapes that are in both images. Whereas the other image was made using a 35mm prime lens, the image shown below was made using a 90mm macro lens.
Setup
The setup is essentially the same as in the other photo: The background is the same dark red art paper taped in the center of a larger, circular diffuser. (However, because this image only captured a relatively small part of the scene where no light was falling on the paper, it didn't matter what color that paper was; whether it was white, black or any color in between, it would have been captured in such dark tones due to the lack of light.) A medium continuous-light lamp behind the art paper and diffuser was shining toward the grapes and camera. The light wrapping around the art paper created the bright outlines on the grapes and helped enhance their translucent characteristic. A black card on the left side of the subject eliminated flare and the resulting lack of contrast by preventing light from directly entering the lens.

Re: Grapes Close-up
Very nice, I prefer this type of shot.
Maybe the last grain at the bottom is too lit, IMO, you could suppress it.
