    Silhouette (maybe I should have gone a gnat darker?)

    Robber Flies have incredible colours. But this one was back-lit and silhouetted. All we see is his dark side.

    Nice to appreciate the shape without the distraction of colors. He is a hairy sort, isn't he! Nicely done!

    I think the treatment offers more of a 3-D component than a straight silhouette. Perhaps that leaves me open to stinging criticism?
