    Glide path

    The approach to Leh Airport, in Ladakh, India is right in front of the Stakna Monastery. As only two or three civilian flights land there every day, getting a shot of an aircraft on its decent doesn't happen all that often, especially given the issues of flying into a military-controlled airport that is at an elevation of 3500m / 11,500ft.

    Nice shot indeed. You got clouds pretty much right where you needed them too.

    Clouds? What clouds? That's another mountain in the background. Not a cloud in the sky that day.
