    Penshaw Monument

Bored with walking the dog along the same bit of coast every day I chucked him, the camera and the tripod in the boot of the car at lunchtime then drove 15 minutes down the road to Penshaw Monument.

There isn't a lot of room on the top of the hill so a super-wide and distortion are the order of the day. It was bright but fair windy meaning a few seconds exposure still gave a bit of cloud blur.

But a good day for photography Robin. Nice capture of the monument. The closest I ever get to it is driving on the A19.
