Yes, well, I didn't realize it at the time but we were awfully kind to our wedding photographer. The men had gorgeous gray tuxes. =]

PS I do many mistakes in English(in French too) so I think La Fleur not Le...
Thank you, Radu, this is a beautifully poetic interpretation. You have wonderful insights, too. AND, I do speak a bit of french and I think that you are right - La Fleur

Okay, to the rest of you, I have registered and really appreciated your input!

Thanks, Dave, for the edits! They do solve my problems. What's great is that I would never have known that they were edited if you take my meaning. They're very naturally enhanced. SO, my question is, then, (I've been wondering) is the solution to the dark stamens and light inner petals, post processing?

Thanks Mr. Wirefox for your input!! I understand but don't trust myself with an intelligent reply. LOL

AND, What in the world have you been ironing for TWO HOURS? I'm a housewife but hardly iron. Well, you are so good that I hope you completely enjoyed your well deserved cake and tea!

    Thanks, Guys!

This is by far the best shot compositionally.
Oh, and, btw, Steve, I liked that shot compositionally the best, too. Out of all of them, so far. Not having ps - only i photo, I, actually, just put that color on in pp. In other words, this was the original one. (It was my entry for PAD day 4)

    Argh! This flower!!!

And as for growing. I feel like all of you Guys' advice is like Ent water. I can feel myself growing! Thanks!

You are welcome Master Peregrin. Ho, hoom now then, are you suggesting we are like the Ents. Nothing said in haste and as old as Middle Earth itself. Slow to stir but when excited we will shake the very roots of Isengard. The CiC Ent Moot. I can see that Colin must be Fangorn, the oldest and wisest...Rob starring as Quickbeam (at little modern and hasty) and sheparding us Huorns through our photographic dilema's.

Sorry...got carried away. I have only read the story about 20 times. And before anyone asks, no, I do not dress up as Arwen Evenstar at weekends and reenact the tender scenes with Aragorn at some working mans club in Rochdale.

Spurs don't fit right on me clogs.

I am afraid I cannot take credit for the song/poem. I just substituted a few words in a Mike Harding composition. Mike Harding is/was a Mancunian comedian/folk song writer who was very popular in the 1970s. The song is actually about a strange phenomenon that occurred in Northwest UK in the 70's. A section of the population decided it would be a good idea to dress in US western gear c/w weapons and and spurs. Rooms in pubs were dedicated to western nights and the perpetrators took it very seriously. It was not uncommon to find Bat Masterson, Bill Bonney and Wyatt Earp wandering the back streets of Rochdale on a Saturday night. Hence 'Cause people laugh when I ride past on our Alsatian dog.

I take full credit for being an ace photographer though (I don't think)
