Nice composition and texture!
If I saw the second version using the vignette as in the first version, I don't think I would have a preference between the two versions. Considering that I don't like the vignette in the second version, I presently go with the first version.

Thank you for the comments. First time trying a white vignette for me so guess I need to work on that particular skill.

I also prefer #1. I tend to like the white vignettes for people portraits.
