My kids aren't kids anymore

If anybody has noticed, I don't like shooting people in a posed setting. It feels awkward and uncomfortable to me. So, this is definitely out of my comfort zone but I do like this shot of my kids when we were in the Florida Keys on vacation.
This was with my new lens, an EF50mm f/1.8 STM. Not really good for critters or action because it is kinda slow but I think I like it for still subjects, especially after I get used to it.

I agree Izzzie. But as the wise man (or was it the wise guy) said, "Growing old sure beats the heck out of the alternative!"

Every ten years or so, I take a formal portrait of our daughter. That time is coming around fast!
