    Kiang

The Kiang, or Tibetan Wild Ass live on the Tibetan Plateau on alpine meadows and steppes. These were the only large, wild animals we saw in Ladakh, India. This is as close as we could get as we were separated from these animals by an open, flowing river.

Beautiful coloring on these animals... I like the way they are lined up. I might consider a crop off the top a bit; making it sort of a pano image. However, it is nice at it is...

It's a 16:9 crop and makes a nice wallpaper on my computer screen. The foreground is too soft to include in the shot and for better or worse photography they were standing in front of a huge hill covered by scree.

Beautiful capture and beautiful animals. I've never heard of these before. Thanks for posting the images.
