You might want to think about wetting the rock before you shoot it. The colours will be a lot more vibrant that way.

I shall give it a try. WB is undoubtedly my least perfected tool.

I played with this using several of the sliders in NIK Viveza including: Structure, saturation and a couple of others...



Very interesting rock... I think that a polarizing filter might also show off the varied colors by decreasing the reflectance...

I have no filters. Nevertheless I'll be doing a re-shoot. You have (as in everyone) have convinced me that there is more to be found within this rock.And I thank you all.
