Great picture, nice DoF, good management of light.
Gorgeous quality of light. The electrical hookups don't bother me at all, as they're part of the instrument being played.
What is the thin, straight, black line on the violin? It seems as if it has to be a post-processing error but I can't imagine what would create it. EDIT: Now eliminated.

Mike. Might I suggest that the thin black line is a shadow of the bow
Roy
Sure, go ahead and suggest it! Seriously, it can't be a shadow of anything because its sides and ends are too well defined and because its color is way too dark. It also can't be a shadow because its shape doesn't conform to the violin. Notice the shadows displayed on the violin for a comparison of characteristics.
EDIT: I wonder if it's the remains of a leveling tool, as it is perfectly horizontal.
EDIT: It's now eliminated.

I think Mike is right Roy. It is not on the original and on the basis that is was not meant to be there, I have removed it. Looks like a line made by the Brush or Pencil tool but I can't think why I would be using either in this image. Not used for levelling Mike. I usually call up the grid on my monitor for that. Strange?
Thank you John.
