Nice shot! I really like the delicate colors of the colored version. I also like the borders which seem to fit the images quite nicely...
Izzie, they are both really lovely. Thank you and a very Happy Birthday to you too.
That is a really nice image, Izzie, I could see that on a greeting card.
Happy birthday to you and Rita.
Nice capture and processing.
Really good one Izzie, I can see you have put some thought and effort into this and it certainly paid off.
It's Happy Birthday to both of you then. Definitely the colour for me Izzie. It's a lovely shot and nicely presented.
Lovely shot Izzie. The purple and green is so nice together. Happy day to you both!
Wonderful capture! I keep going back and forth on which I like better as both are lovely and for different reasons. That just means it's special! Happy Birthday to both you and Rita!
Beautiful! My preference is the coloured version! It makes a perfect birthday picture! (Happy Birthday Rita)
Colour for me too Izzie,
Althooooooouuuugh I think the B&W has possibilities - I think it needs more texture e.g. add a big dollop of Clarity, or 'sharpen' for Local Contrast Enhancement (LCE).
Happy Birthday Rita.
Cheers, Dave
You must be thanked too...and also John2 -- you two taught me how to photograph flowers. Every now and then I do it and when I do, I think the thought put into it pays well. Thank you so two much for being such a patient teacher. Everytime I set something up on my table or take photograph outside, I remember both of you and know how lucky I am to have found you here at CiC.
Thanks Susan. that purple wasn't really purple but dark blue. It was the new round table cloth I bought some weeks back for my tabletop photography. It was so windy outside so I went out and cut a few twigs from out tree up front seeing that it is now in full bloom. Pity we did not get the same beauty from our magnolia tree nearby which was ruined by the cold snap. Thank you so much for passing by. I appreciate your comments very much.
Actually, I was trying to remove much of the texture so it will look "dreamy" sort of thing...
Thank you so much for commenting, Dave. You know I learned so much from you too. I had taken over 400 shots at the Botanical Gardens and I still have to edit some more but tax time is coming so I have to get busy. Bill does an itemized tax returns and I insists on helping. Now editing will have to wait till next week, I hope...I appreciate your input too...Take care.
