    Prayer flags at Pangong Lake

    There's not a lot of interesting foreground material available at Pangong Lake, so the bit of colours from the prayer flags make an interesting addition to the stark landscape of mountains and an icy shoreline. This shot was taken not far from the border between India and China (Tibet). We needed a foreigner's permit to visit here.

    Nice picture of solitude.
    Did you try without the triangle of sand on the RHS corner?

    Interesting place. So this explains the ice in India is because it is near China's cold part of the layout of the land.
