"Now, listen, here is the plan!"
These are Tuis, native to New Zealand, on our deck. They love sugar water and the fact that this container is very seldom empty. They are very territorial, but because this seems an inexhaustible supply seem to be more open to share. We have, at times, had up to six around the container, which before we would have thought impossible. You would be excused for not recognising their distinctive white throat tufts. They look similar to the circular highlights in the background, but each and every Tui has one.
